Our office has been offering real estate services to Redlands and the surrounding communities since 1995, but many of our team members have been living and working in these areas for much longer. We’ve got a lot invested in these communities – time, memories, relationships, and more – so we want to do our part to contribute to their protection and enhancement. To start, we’ve created a community outreach team.
It’s our mission to support these communities by providing contributions and services that will increase the quality of life, uplift spirits, and ignite a culture of giving.
On our community outreach team, we have Realtors and staff members who serve as a voice for different parts of the community. Each of us has had experiences that have opened our heart to different facets of the community, so we’ve come together to use those experiences to create a comprehensive outreach plan that reaches those who need us most.
Who do we have a heart for?
We have a heart for children. Many of us have children that we love dearly and want to give every opportunity in the world too. One of us has a daughter who is a survivor of cancer. She and her family fought to make sure that her daughter would have every opportunity – cancer free. Because of her story and stories like hers, we’re sympathetic to children who are battling life-threatening illnesses and the families that suffer alongside them.
Because of this heart, we’re choosing to support the Ronald McDonald house.
We have a heart for veterans. We owe our freedom and safety to the brave men and women who serve our country. Veterans are our husbands, wives, children, friends, and neighbors. We want to honor them and protect them. It’s our hope that we can provide resources to veterans who are struggling with illness and homelessness, and we hope that we can honor them with the recognition they deserve.
Because of this heart, we’re choosing to support VA Loma Linda Healthcare.
We have a heart for the elderly. Many of us have elderly parents who require constant care, attention, and love. We are happy to have the opportunity to directly support our family, but there are many elderly folks without a family to care for them, spend time with them, and love on them. We hope we can provide support, love, and joy to them.
Because of this heart, we’re choosing to support Golden Oaks Retirement Community.
Finally, we have a heart for animals. We can’t imagine our lives without the animals who bring us so much joy and show us so much, love. Unfortunately, many animals are abandoned, neglected, or born on the streets into dangerous environments. We want to help rescue and protect these animals so that they can enjoy a safe and happy life.
Because of this heart, we’re choosing to support Daisy’s Hope Foundation.
We have big plans for our community outreach team, and we hope to not only do our part but to help inspire others to join in. It’s going to take a lot of planning, organization, and hard work – but it’s a journey we’re excited to embark on.
Our first step in this journey is giving. We’re beginning to collect crucial items – drawn directly from each organization’s wish list – to distribute to these organizations in need. While our most donations come from within our office, we can provide a list of items that we are willing to receive so that the larger community can be involved as well. Donations can be left at either our Redlands or Yucaipa office, and twice monthly we will divide these items and distribute them to the appropriate organizations.
This is just the start of our outreach efforts – with our next goal being action! For now, any contribution from donating to sharing a post on Facebook will help us make a difference.
Thank you for being a part of this journey!
